Getting started

How do I set up BidSlip?

Tap Get started and enter your business name. Everything else is optional and can be changed later in the Business tab. To look around first, tap Try with sample jobs. Sample jobs don’t count toward the free plan.

Can I bring my customers and prices from another app?

Yes. In Business › Import from a spreadsheet, choose a CSV file of customers or saved prices. BidSlip shows a preview and flags duplicates before anything is added.

Plans and billing

What does the free plan include?

Three jobs with every feature and unlimited customers. BidSlip Pro adds unlimited jobs for $79.99 a year or $9.99 a month (US prices). New subscribers can start the yearly plan with one month free.

How do I cancel?

Apple handles BidSlip subscriptions. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose BidSlip and tap Cancel Subscription. To avoid being charged, cancel at least a day before your free month or current period ends. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel a subscription.

How do I get a refund?

Apple processes refunds for App Store purchases. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

I already paid, but BidSlip shows the free plan.

Open Business › Plan and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple Account you used to subscribe. If it still doesn’t work, email us.

What happens to my records if I stop paying?

Nothing is deleted. You can still open, share and export every job. You just can’t start new jobs beyond the free plan’s three.

Your records

Where are my records saved?

On your iPhone, in BidSlip’s own storage. BidSlip has no accounts and doesn’t send your records to us. Your iPhone’s own iCloud or computer backups may include them, depending on your settings.

How do I back up or move to a new iPhone?

In Business › Export a backup, save the backup file to Files, iCloud Drive or another place you trust. A backup includes photos, signatures and your logo. On the new iPhone, install BidSlip and use Business › Restore from a backup. Restoring replaces what’s on that iPhone, and BidSlip keeps the previous data aside.

Can I get my data as a spreadsheet?

Yes. Business › Export spreadsheets creates CSV files you can open in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting the BidSlip app deletes its records from your iPhone. Export a backup first if you might need them. Copies you’ve exported or shared stay wherever you saved or sent them.

Documents

Are BidSlip’s documents legal contracts?

BidSlip helps you prepare and keep estimates, change approvals and invoices. It isn’t legal, tax or financial advice, and it isn’t a substitute for an attorney. Some states and cities have specific rules for home improvement contracts, such as required notices, cancellation rights and license numbers. You’re responsible for making sure your documents meet the rules where you work. Review your standard terms with an attorney.

Does recording a payment charge my customer?

No. Recording a payment keeps track of money you’ve received some other way. BidSlip doesn’t move money.
